Hayley Greenhalgh is a second year Design and Media Arts major at UCLA currently based out of San Diego, California. She's an artist, if you haven't noticed, albeit a deeply unhip one, a geek, which will become more obvious as plotlines progress, and one of the most picky eaters you'll ever meet. When she was very very short, she wanted to be a) a ballerina (despite her distinct lack of grace), b) a farmer (but only so she could live in a house with lots of animals around, this sprouting mostly from the fact that she grew up in a miniscule farming village in Suffolk, England) or c) an artist. Well later on in life, she took one artist and raised it two filmmaker. Pun. What exactly she wants to do in film? Who knows? Either way, today she spends most of her days arting away in her tiny little dorm room. Not doing the art she's supposed to be doing of course, but finding other, completely irrelevant art to occupy her time. Also, her favorite color is green, she went to her first concert when she was 4 years old (it was Crowded House with the Cranberries supporting) and her least favorite sound comes out of a weed whacker.
Ali Guerin (yes, Ali G.) is a second year Design|Media Arts major at UCLA, home-grown in Orange County California. She loves to tinker a bit, take things apart, and put them back together. Since she was a youngin', Ali has loved drawing and painting and general arts and crafts (she was a mean crochet-er in her day) and fell in love with photoshop, flash, photography, web design and other fun computer things and followed them right through high school. She grew up on movies, and has a strange loyalty to Wes Anderson and Steven Spielberg. The last year or so has been a real trip for Ali. She's recently gotten into various stashes of graphic novels and anime, and met awesome people and learned to play guitar and found a love for ballroom dance (salsa, swing, and tango, ftw!). Ali has too many pairs of shoes, one hat, unread books, and sketchbooks full of doodles and drawings that will somehow find their way out of her head. She also responds well to bass guitar, and loves inhaling the steam of delicious teas.
